#2: Curaçao, Caribbean
When it comes to the Caribbean, it’s hard to say that any island is truly ‘less traveled’ and for the most part, that is correct. However, there is one such island called Curaçao that we think qualifies for this list. With a dreamy and laid-back vibe, this island is a little smaller and does not host the abundance of options as the other more popular islands.
Here, you might really get to experience the true culture of the Caribbean, with friendly locals, intimate smaller beaches, and even some cheaper rates for amenities and booking.
#3: Lyon, France
When Europe is the place to be on vacation, you’ll most likely find yourself looking to spend a little time in France. This is a good thing, as France is home to romantic and picturesque scenery like no other place in the world. While Paris is popular and bustling with travelers, consider giving Lyon a chance. Just a simple two-hour train ride from Paris will land you in this less-crowded and charming city, where you can enjoy a deeper dive into what makes France so special.
Lyon makes for an excellent pit stop on your tour of France and/or Europe and should definitely find its way onto your bucket list of vacation destinations!
