I spent three months living next to the Acropolis in Athens, Greece just after the summer Olympics
wrapped up in 2004. I traveled extensively throughout the country and fell in love with it. If you love
laid-back cultures, beaches, mountains, history, great food and good wine- Greece is the place for you.
My top recommendations if you’re in the country: Thessaloniki, the waterfalls of Edessa, ancient Olympia,
Corinth Canal, Cape Sounio’s Temple of Poseidon, the islands of Hydra and Santorini. Opa!
