A visit to St. Lucia is something to be experienced instead of read about, but keep reading! The island has been coined the ‘Hawaii of the Caribbean’ for it’s lush tropical landscapes full of mountain tops and beautiful beaches.
As with any vacation, the journey to the destination isn’t always the most enjoyable part, it’s actually being in paradise that re-energizes, relaxes and rejuvenates. Now imagine you’ve landed on the southern tip of the island, you know you’re ready to sink your toes in the sand and start your vacation right away. At this point, the last thing you want is another weary leg of the trip to get in the way but most of the transfers to the northern tip of the island are upwards of 90 minutes away by shuttle and include some pretty windy roads!
But you know this, your certified travel concierge has already informed you that a helicopter transfer will not only let you see the island and coastlines from the sky, but you’ll also be cutting down your commute time from 90 to 30 minutes!
You are no longer painfully enduring the transfer. You’re killing two birds with one helicopter ride and actually enjoying it! And, most importantly, you get more time to enjoy your vacation and spend a lot less time just trying to get there.
Take a look to see for yourself and get in touch with your Beach Bum, we’re here to help you plan the ultimate St. Lucia experience!
Imagine waking up to the most stunning view of the Mexican Caribbean in your spacious suite, complete with a Jacuzzi for two. Enjoy a gourmet breakfast in bed, discreetly delivered to your suite via the “Magic Box.” Time to shower before starting your day? No worries, you will not lose that amazing ocean view because your shower in your suite even has a window with a perfect view! Be pampered all day by the butlers in your Royal Beach Cabana, dine at the included restaurants (Italian, Mexican-French fusion, Spanish tapas, Asian fusion, international haute cuisine and more), sip on a martini, relax with your in-room aromatherapy and relax with a nightcap from your mini bar.

We’ll choose a winner at random to go to paradise… Cheeseburger in Paradise that is! A Cheeseburger in Paradise gift card will be awarded to one winner.
Even if you’ve never flown across the Pacific, you’ve probably visited Kauai many times! Countless blockbusters have been filmed on the Garden Isle; from Elvis’ Blue Hawaii to Jurassic Park, King Kong, Tropic Thunder, The Descendants, Raiders of the Lost Ark, South Pacific and Pirates of the Caribbean.
In October, I had the opportunity to visit this majestic isle and take in its beauty firsthand. Honestly, the movies don’t do it justice! No visit to the Isles of Aloha would be complete without spending a few days on Kauai. This island is the furthest north of the eight main islands of the Hawaiian archipelago and just a hop, skip and a jump away from Oahu, Maui and Hawaii’s Big Island, easily accessible via Hawaiian Airlines.
Kauai is lush with beautiful rainforests, the famous Fern Grotto, the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific” – Waimea Canyon, and the Napali Coast (which you will probably recognize from many movies!). The landscapes, garden design and construction is truly breathtaking; photos and movies capture a bit of it, but to truly appreciate the majestic scenery, you simply must visit! The island offers plenty of opportunities for sightseeing, but you can also enjoy a round of golf at 10 renowned courses, or for something a little less challenging, experience one of the most unique mini golf courses anywhere! This island is also home to a coffee plantation where you can sample Kona coffee’s more affordable and every-bit-as-tasty cousin Kauai Coffee. If you prefer to indulge in a stronger beverage, head on over to the Historic Kilohana Plantation where you can take a train ride through tropical fruit fields and participate in rum tasting at Koloa Rum Co.
After a long day of sightseeing (I do recommend a rental car for that!), you will certainly want to rest your head on a comfy pillow. Kauai has a variety of hotels to choose from. Some of my favorites include the St. Regis Princeville for its view that cannot be beat & impeccable 5 star service, the Courtyard Kaua’i at Coconut Beach for its casual, comfortable accommodations, beachfront location and proximity to shopping & dining, and the Sheraton Kaua’i Resort in the Poipu area for its gorgeous beach and recently renovated, spacious accommodations.
Get in touch with your favorite Beach Bum when YOU are ready to experience the Garden Isle! We are here to make sure you have an exquisite experience in paradise!
